The Richard Sedgwick Family Web Site: This site is centered around the family of Richard Sedgwick. Richard was born in Barnsley, Yorkshire, England, on May 12, 1849, to George and Rachel Carter Sidgwick. As a youth, Richard joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and emigrated to the United States of America. The Robert Aveson Family: Robert Aveson was Richard Sedgwick's best friend in England. The Sedgwicks and Avesons are still friends over 135 years after Richard and Robert left England for America. The Daniel and Mary Barlow Hall Family: Daniel and Mary Barlow Hall are the parents of Richard Sedgwick's wife, Mary Emma Hall Sedgwick. They emigrated from Bury, Lancashire, England to the United States in the late 1860s. They stopped for a time in New York then moved on to Bountiful, Utah. We are searching for photographs and information related to the Hall family. The Thomas Tolman Family: Our site for the family of Thomas Tolman. The site contains brief histories and photos of some of his more well-known descendants, including the brothers Cyrus, Judson, and Benjamin. The Hodnett Family: Our site for the Hodnett family, which came to America from England or Ireland long before the United States became a nation. One of the most famous Hodnetts, Benjamin, fought on the American side during the American Revolutionary War. The Hodnetts settled primarily in the South. Some Hodnetts fought on the side of the Confederacy during the war between the States. The Life History of Emmi Letty Williams Peterson: Emmi was born 4 September 1855 in Richland township, Mahaska County, Iowa. Emmi was a great pioneer. She emigrated to Utah and married August Peterson. She and August had a large family and a wonderful farm in Mapelton, Utah. Please visit the Williams and Peterson Family Genforums.

The Life History of Sarah Ann Williams Cooper Reynolds: Sarah Ann is the sister of Emmi Letty Williams Peterson. She married Abraham Cooper. She worked as a school teacher for several years. Please visit the Williams, Cooper, and Reynolds Family Genforums.

The George and Ann Quayle Cannon Family: George and Ann were the parents of President George Quayle Cannon, who was a counselor in the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Another son, David H. Cannon, wrote a wonderful history of the family. George's sister was the wife of John Taylor, President of Cannon Family Genforum.

The Elias Adams Family: Elias Adams was a veteran of the War of 1812. He fought on the U.S. side. Later, he became a very prominent citizen of Adams County, Illinois. (It is even rumored that Adams County was named after Elias Adams.) Elias was a great pioneer, and continued west from Illinois and settled in what is now Davis County, Utah, where he again became a prominent citizen. One of the Rocky Mountain canyons in Utah is named after him. Please visit the Adams Family Genforum.

The Cleveland Family Chronicles: A Web Site with several informative pages dedicated to the Cleveland family. Please be sure to follow the links to the pages regarding the Northern Clevelands. The Life History of Antoinette Cleveland Dibble: Antoinette was the daughter of Henry Alanson Cleveland and the wife of Philo Dibble, Jr. Her father, Henry, and her husband's father, Philo Dibble, Sr., were both wounded in the same battle with a mob in Missouri. Both lived for several years after the battle. The bullets that wounded both men remained in their bodies for the rest of their lives.

The Thomas and Jane Patterson Brough Family: Thomas and Jane Brough came from England and Scotland, respectively. They married and emigrated to the United States, where they became pioneers in the westward movement. This is their story. Please visit the Brough Family Genforum.

Philo Dibble, Sr.: Philo was a pioneer of the early 1800's. He began in New England, then moved to Ohio, Missouri, Illinois, and Utah. He built several homes, farms, and businesses. He was a farmer, soldier, body guard, store owner, merchant, ferry man, artist, art collector, and exhibitor of a traveling museum. The Life History of Joseph Holbrook: This is the entire journal, but without the additional documents and certificates. (We thank those of you who made it possible to post the entire journal here, especially John & Deanne Driscoll, Beverley Cady, and Dawna Foucht.) The Cyril & Sarah "Sally" Tiffany Call Family: Our site for the enormous Call family. This section of our site also contains the Autobiography of Anson Call, which comes from the journal of Anson Call up to 1839. The John C. Burgess Family: Ancestors, descendants, and family of John Christian (or Johann Christian or Chris John) Burgess. John Burgess was a Hessian soldier who came from Germany to America to fight on the side of the British during the American Revolutionary War. He defected, changed his name, and fought instead for the Americans. You may also wish to visit the Burgess Family Genforum.

The Wrigley Family: John Wrigley was born 9 July 1838 in Doncaster, Yorkshire, England. He married Catherine Cunningham (born 29 November 1854 in Borland, Fifeshire, Scotland) on 31 October 1870. John and Catherine came to America and settled in American Fork, Utah, where they had six children. There is also a Wrigley Family Genforum that you may wish to visit.

Captain David Perry: This fabulous site, which was created by Denise G. Jones, gives extensive information about the life, career, and family of Captain David Perry, including his complete autobiography Recollections of an Old Soldier. Captain Perry served in many military campaigns during the 1700s, including the American Revolution. There is also a Perry Family Genforum that you may wish to visit. Erastus Bingham, who is featured above, is also a descendant of Captain Perry.

The David and Patty Bartlett Sessions Family: Patty Bartlett Sessions, was well-known as a pioneer midwife. Their son, Perrigrine Sessions, was the founder of Bountiful, Davis County, Utah. The Recollections of Joseph Knight, Sr.: Joseph Knight, the father of Newel Knight, was a close friend and benefactor of the Prophet Joseph Smith. Please visit the Knight Family Genforum.

Journals of various early Latter-day Saints: A collection of journals at the Book of Abraham Project Site. There are dozens of histories listed here, so it would be worth checking if you are looking for information about early Latter-day Saints.
