Marie A. Wiggins

RIVERDALE—Mrs. Marie A. Wiggins, 60, of 5100 S. 1050 W., died Thursday, May 29, 1980, in St. Benedict’s Hospital of cancer.

Mrs. Wiggins was born July 30, 1919, in Layton, Utah, a daughter of Richard H. and Emma A. Dibble Sedgwick.

She was married to Cyril E. Wiggins on Dec. 6, 1939, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She lived in Morgan and Ogden and moved to Riverdale in 1947. She graduated from Davis High School.

She was a member of the Riverdale 4th LDS Ward and served a stake mission in the South Morgan Stake. She had been a Primary teacher in the West Layton Ward and a Relief Society teacher in the Ogden 11th and 28th Wards.

Surviving are her husband of Riverdale; three sons and two daughters, Max E. Wiggins, Steven J. Wiggins, both of Ogden; Ray A. Wiggins, Layton; Mrs. Ron (Shirley) Miller, Roy; Mrs. Richard (Joan) Banks, Kearns; eight grandchildren.

Also surviving are four brothers, David Sedgwick, Folsom, Calif.; Joel Sedgwick, Provo; Howard Sedgwick, San Jan Capistrano, Calif.; Philo Sedgwick, Logan.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in Linquist and Sons Colonial Chapel with Bishop R. Kent Archibald officiating.

Friends may call at the mortuary Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services. Interment in the South Morgan Cemetery.
